Granada history, modern comfort
Palacio del Carmen is a small palace in central Granada, restored as ten modern, fully equipped suites. It keeps the character of the city’s traditional architecture and adds everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether for one night or a whole month.
From the front door you can walk to the Cathedral, Gran Vía de Colón and the lanes of the Albaicín. Some suites have a private patio, terrace or rooftop with views of the Alhambra, the Generalife or San Nicolás.

How does check-in work?
Check-in is self-service: every suite has a keypad lock and we send you the code and instructions before you arrive. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. Please let us know your approximate arrival time in advance.
Is there parking?
The building has no parking of its own and there is no public parking in the area. Your arrival instructions include two nearby spaces you can use. Please note that, under local rules, only vehicles with an approved emissions label may enter the area.
Why do you ask for my details before arrival?
Under Spanish Royal Decree 933/2021, all accommodation in Spain must register every guest and send their details to the authorities. Before check-in we will ask you to complete an online form with your travellers’ details.
Do you have an accessible suite?
Yes. Suite Catedral is adapted for guests with reduced mobility, and the building has a lift with a 132 cm deep car and an 81 cm wide door.
Can I bring a baby?
Of course. Suites have a high chair and, on request, we can set up a travel cot (€20 per stay, subject to availability). Just let us know when you book.
What are the house rules?
No smoking in the suites, no pets, and no parties, events or stag/hen dos. The person checking in must be 18 or over. Children are welcome.
Do you accept long stays?
Yes, we welcome stays of 28 nights or more. Every suite has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, Wi-Fi and a workspace, so they are comfortable for remote work too.
How do I get to the Alhambra?
From Plaza Nueva you can walk up the Cuesta de Gomérez or take one of the city minibuses that go up to the Alhambra. We recommend buying tickets in advance on the official website, as they often sell out.
How can I book?
